Frontier Airlines Is Selling Flights for $29 — But There’s a Deadline

Frontier Airlines is celebrating its 29th anniversary with flights as low as $29, but you have to act quickly if you want to take advantage of this sale.

To get the special rate, you must book your ticket by 11:59 p.m. Eastern time on Thursday, July 20. So you have limited time to decide.

Here are the details:

You must purchase your $29 ticket at least 21 days in advance, so you wouldn’t be able to fly until Aug 10. The $29 fares are available for flights through Nov. 15.

The fares are valid for nonstop travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays in “select markets,” Frontier says. And two blackout dates apply: Sept. 5 and Oct. 10.

So those are the conditions you need to take into account. But still: an airline ticket for 29 bucks!

“We are celebrating our 29th birthday by thanking our customers with a truly first-of-its kind deal,” said Tyri Squyres, Frontier’s VP of marketing. “This deal won’t last for long, so now is the time to start planning some amazing fall travel.”

These $29 tickets are one-way tickets. A round-trip purchase isn’t required.

The deal doesn’t stop with cheap airline tickets.

For another $29, you can add a bundle called “The Perks” that includes a carry-on bag, a checked bag and the ability to select a seat.

Another option is to spend $49 on a bundle called “The Works,” which includes a refundable ticket.

Both options include the ability to change your flight reservation once for free.

“This is the first time we’ve ever offered ‘The Perks’ and ‘The Works’ bundles at such a low cost,” Squyres said.

Tickets can be booked online at Frontier’s website. To receive the one-time free flight change, customers must opt in to choose “Flight Flexibility” during booking.

Customers who purchase “The Perks” during this promotional period will receive double Frontier Miles. Those who purchase “The Works” will receive triple Frontier Miles. Normally you earn one mile for every mile you fly on Frontier.

Headquartered in Denver, Frontier is an ultra-low-cost airline that flies to more than 100 destinations. It has become known for offering the only all-you-can-fly pass in America.
