Janet Keeler has an Ed.D. in Educational Program Development and a master's in Journalism and Media Studies from the University of South Florida. She has taught journalism at the Unversity of South Florida St. Petersburg since 2011. Janet worked for 35 years at daily newspapers, including 15 years as the Food and Travel Editor at the Tampa Bay Times. She is a frequent judge in journalism competitions including the James Beard Foundation awards. The Society of Professional Journalists and Florida Society of News Editors have honored her work.
