As the head taste tester, the chief candy officer will need to sample more than 3,500 products each month. But don’t worry: This position comes with an extensive dental plan.

“Whoever lands this position better be ready for the ride of their lives,” CEO Jamal Hejazi said in a press release, “and to have chocolate flowing through their veins.”

The company is accepting applications through Aug. 31 so you’ve got less than a month to perfect your palate and enter your name for consideration. If taste testing candy isn’t for you, Candy Funhouse is also looking for a social media personality, paying up to $24 an hour. They’ve already got 2.4 million TikTok followers, but just a mere 6,700 on Twitter.

The Chief Candy Officer position is completely work-from-home, but you’re also welcome to work out of the Toronto or Newark, New Jersey, offices — which could be useful if your trash bin is full of candy wrappers and you’re up against a tight taste-testing deadline.

While no actual experience is necessary, Candy Funhouse is looking for someone in North America who is fluent in English, has excellent communication skills and has no food allergies.

Candy Funhouse is the world’s largest online candy store, carrying candies from here in the U.S. but also countries like Japan, Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom.

While candy is their specialty, you can also order snacks, cookies and even cereal, as well as flavored drinks from around the globe and candles that smell like your favorite treats. They’ve also got Fun Boxes for special occasions — and yes, you can schedule Fun Box deliveries as a subscription.
