What’s the first thing you’d buy if you won the lottery? A new house? A new car?

Well, one lucky contest winner will get both — plus $100,000 cash — in HGTV’s 2023 Smart Home Giveaway. Sweepstakes entries are being accepted until June 9, and you can enter twice a day if you want.

The grand prize winner will get a three-bedroom, 2½-bathroom house in Santa Fe, New Mexico, which sits at the base of the southern Rocky Mountains and is home to a vibrant arts scene.

Naturally, the brand-new home comes fully furnished and decorated — an HGTV lover’s dream come true. Designers infused technology into every facet of the smart home, including a state-of-the-art kitchen and smart solutions in the outdoor spaces, the bedrooms and the laundry room.

The sweepstakes winner will also receive an electric Mercedes-Benz EQE Sedan, plus the $100,000 we mentioned. The whole package is valued at more than $2.2 million, HGTV says.

How to Enter the Sweepstakes

Now for the most important part: How to score a chance to win.

You can enter the sweepstakes twice per day — once at HGTV.com and once at FoodNetwork.com. You can even sign up for email reminders so you don’t forget to submit an entry every day.

Theoretically, if you entered the sweepstakes twice a day between now and June 9, you could enter the contest roughly 80 times — if you were really thorough about it.

The grand prize winner will be chosen in a random drawing on June 15. HGTV will contact the winner in the following weeks, possibly with a surprise visit to the winner’s home.

To be eligible to enter, you must be a U.S. resident and at least 21 years old.

Rather win cash based on more than luck? An iPhone app called Solitaire Cash lets you play for real cash — up to $83 every time. Players gets the same deck, so winning is totally a matter of skill.

More About the Smart Home

The 3,095-square-foot home sits on nearly 2 acres of land.

Highlights include a state-of-the art kitchen with technologically advanced appliances, including a digital-range hood over the stove. The open concept floor plan is filled with natural light and leads you to lush outdoor spaces.

An outdoor kitchen complete with dining area is perfect for hosting, and the backyard features multiple lounge areas, a spa plunge pool and a firepit. From the living room bar, drinks and snacks can be sent up via a dumbwaiter to the rooftop deck, providing gorgeous views of the surrounding area.

The main bedroom features a large bathroom and expansive closet.

Good luck, and may the odds be in your favor.
