Are you graduating from high school or college? Congratulations! Sure, you get a nifty diploma and a brighter future and all that, but make sure to pick up your real reward — a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts for free.

And also — this is important — this is only happening on Wednesday, not on any other day.

That’s right. Seniors graduating from high school or college can get a sweet graduation present from Krispy Kreme: a dozen original glazed donuts for free.

To get this bonanza, seniors just need to wear some kind of Class of 2023 clothing or swag, like a T-shirt or jacket or a class ring, or even a graduation cap and gown.

Wear your swag at any participating Krispy Kreme location on Wednesday, May 24, and collect your free donuts while supplies last. No purchase is necessary, the donut chain says.

This is the fourth consecutive year that Krispy Kreme has honored graduating seniors with a free dozen donuts.

“We started this during the COVID-19 pandemic, and we haven’t forgotten that the lives of this year’s graduates were heavily impacted by the pandemic,” said Dave Skena, the company’s chief brand officer. “We are thrilled to celebrate their perseverance and spirit the best way we know how: free Original Glazed donuts.”

One other thing: Graduates’ free donuts come in a box labeled “Dough‑ploma.” That way, you won’t forget what earned you those donuts.
