PeaceHealth, a health care system, is hiring a remote full-time centralized scheduling coordinator who lives in Washington, Oregon, Texas or Alaska. You will earn at least $19.37 an hour plus benefits, depending on experience.
You will be the central point of communication for physicians and medical offices to help with patient care, and you will coordinate schedule changes.
You must have at least two years of scheduling and health records experience, along with experience with electronic medical records systems. Clinical experience is preferred but not required.
Centralized Scheduling Coordinator at PeaceHealth
Responsibilities include:
- Working as the central point of communication for physicians and offices to help with patient care.
- Receiving incoming phone calls to schedule and coordinate patient care.
- Coordinating changes to the block and schedule.
- Supporting patients, caregivers and families in understanding the course of pre-procedure and exam testing.
Applicants for this position must have:
- At least two years of scheduling and health records experience.
- Experience with electronic medical records systems.
- Clinical experience is preferred.
